The CASA Heritage and Airbus Defence & Space
CASA, the Spanish aerospace manufacturer Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA, built a reputation for producing versatile military transport and utility aircraft before becoming a subsidiary of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) in 1999. A decade later, CASA was fully absorbed into Airbus Military, which today operates as part of Airbus Defence and Space. Despite the corporate evolution, CASA-origin platforms such as the C-295 and CN-235 continue to form the foundation of tactical airlift fleets in dozens of countries.
Tronair's ground support equipment program for these aircraft reflects that operational reality, with GSE engineered to the specific airframe dimensions, weight profiles, and maintenance requirements of each platform. Our Airbus aircraft ground support equipment catalog also extends to larger Airbus military platforms, including the A330 MRTT and A400M, giving defense operators a single GSE source across the full scope of their Airbus military fleet.
