Rajeev Amara Rajeev Amara

Mr. Amara founded and oversees Golden Gate Capital’s Industrials Investing Practice, which comprises 12 Companies aggregating to over $4 billion of revenues. The philosophy of the Industrials Practice is to invest in competitively differentiated market leaders and aggressively grow their earnings by prioritizing innovation and capital allocation. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the Board of the University’s Graduate School of Education, one of the top ranked educational research Schools in the world.
 Shyam Ravindran Shyam Ravindran

Shyam Ravindran joined Golden Gate Capital in 2008. Within the Industrials Investing Practice, he focuses on the Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Transportation, and General Manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, he worked in the San Francisco office of Bain & Company. Mr. Ravindran has a BS in Management Science and Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Stanford University. He serves on the board of directors of several GGC portfolio companies, including Hillstone Environmental Partners, ShaleApps, Tronair, and GAL Manufacturing.
 Robert Kirby Robert Kirby

Robert Kirby is an Operating Partner with Golden Gate Capital. Mr. Kirby was previously CEO of Atrium. He was also the CEO of Vi-Jon, a leading private label manufacturer in the personal care market. Prior to this Mr. Kirby was CEO of Accellent, a leading contract manufacturer in the medical device market. Earlier in Mr. Kirby’s career, he was a GM and led R&D, Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain at large cap companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark and Fort James. Mr. Kirby has broad based experience in Consumer Personal Care, OTC and Medical Devices. During his 30 year career he has led large scale and complex integrations of acquisitions, implemented lean processes and driven rapid, positive change.
 Christopher O’Connor Christopher O’Connor

Christopher J. O’Connor leads the strategic growth of Safety Technology Holdings & Humanetics; a global leader in Test & Measurement Systems, including the iconic Crash Test Dummies, Software Modeling, Specialty Engineering Solutions, Specialty Fiberoptics and related global safety products. O’Connor has held the position of President & CEO and board member of STH & Humanetics since 2007. Mr. O’Connor is also a Board Member at Tronair, GAL and several technical universities. Previously, O’Connor worked for General Electric, Martin Marietta, TRW and was also a Colonel in the US Army Reserves. He graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in mechanical & manufacturing engineering. Mr. O’Connor is a graduate of the GE Advance Course, GE Crotonville Course, US Army Command & General Staff College and the Executive Management Course at the Ross School of Business at Michigan University.
 Harley Kaplan Harley Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Tronair. Harley joined in late 2013 following acquisition of the Company by Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. With over 33 years of experience, he is the former CEO/President and Chairman of Dexter Magnetic Technologies Inc., Chairman and CEO of RathGibson, Inc. and a Senior Executive serving in various roles at Goodrich Aerospace. He has a BS in Engineering and BBA from the University of Cincinnati.
